Wide view over a misty mountain village with rusted roofs, brick walls and snowy peaks beyond
2014

Station

Station was a project I started for the Gamebanana + Razer mapping contest in Summer of 2014. Making a map this large was a first for me, and became a learning experience in the limitations of the source engine and in time management. Unable to focus on very small details, I started with a rough sketch and kept to broad strokes in the beginning, slowly working down to a look that I was happy with. The map was awarded first place in the contest and became an official part of Insurgency.
